Some of our members use a a computer program called “Finale” to help learn the concert music. Finale acts as a word processor for sheet music, with the added bonus that it will play out the music once it has been entered into an (electronic) score. Each concert, a few NCS members enter the concert music and distribute the electronic scores as learning aids. Music for our upcoming concert is available for download from the web.

Much of our critical communications are delivered via NCS' Yahoo! group email list. If you are not receiving these emails, please go to http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NewtonChoralSociety/ and apply for membership. You may also view a correspondence history, share files, etc., through this interface.
